They walked, hand in hand

And they walked, right through the crowd…
Not a word spoken, not a word heard…
Gripping on each others hand, tight. Very, Very, tight.
Ignoring the reactions, the many stares, of as many people…
People, who judged as if they were this society’s might..
People, who think of themselves as a benchmark of being right
And then, them who never cared, walked, in absolute ignorance,
Not heeding to the strong might, nor to the social plight…
They continue walking, holding each others hand,
Not a word spoken, not a word heard…
Gripping on each others hand, tight. Very, Very, tight.
While others wonder if its permissible, Whether its right
To me though, a man holding another mans hand was one funny sight!

Ok.. This was just written in plain jest.
Am not judging the sexual preferences, and am not against that idea of people having and or following their preferences! This post does not attempt to make fun of people with different preferences. This post was written on a long tiring day. Two grown (seemingly straight) men walked down the railways track holding each others hands while everyone else starred. While our judiciary recently included, accommodated and provided rights to gays, apparently its perfectly alright for a man to hold hands with another for no reason! What’s ironic (and this is me stereotyping) is that this sect of the people are typically the ones who are vociferous against the idea of homosexuality!
