If you are supposed to “Crack” a joke, and “Sing” praises. How do you glorify, celebrate a comedian?

Do you crack their jokes and by doing so – steal their craft; or do you not honour their craft at all, and sing instead.

Also, why do we “kick” the bucket, but attempt to “bite” a bullet.
