Waking up to the sight of you..

Another entry from the “Once written now forgotten” lot..

This is one day I would never forget,
One of those super special ones, you bet!

I slept dreaming of someone,
And woke up with the sight of her..
I dreamed of seeing this for a life time,
And it happened right now, right here!

All that mattered to me, was right there with me,
Waking up, waking up to the sight of you!
These thoughts & feelings have been there for long,
Just the words to express, or so they try, are new

And the words now, seem to fail me,
They can’t seem to know…
Waking up to the sight of you,
A moment they simply fail to show!

My world seems to be fuzzy,
But for once, I really don’t care..
Waking up to the sight of you,
And I can’t help, at you I simply stare.

These thoughts have began to sink in,
But will remain deep inside for long..
Waking up to the sight of you,
Means a lot more to me, than this lil song.

Like all moments in time, this too shall fade,
But this sweet memory, am sure, will simply stay..
Waking up to the sight of you,
My worlds no more grey..

This day, has become so special,
So special because it began with you..
Waking up to the sight of you,
